The Bside skin Tattoo Team welcomes you to our store.
The objective of integrating a new guest artist into our team is above all to promote the best conditions for adaptation, so that you feel part of our team.
This manual was prepared for you, in order to facilitate your stay and your professional path in an experience that is currently starting and that we hope will be really enriching.
We aim to offer all our guests working conditions that allow efficient performance, based on precision, professionalism and productivity. However, we also look forward to receiving your commitment and your active participation in the realization of our mission, through your own experience, motivation, and ambition. We wish you every success in your stay with Bside skin Tattoo.
Presentation and Objectives of the Employee Reception and Integration Manual
This manual is intended to be a tool to facilitate the process of welcoming the integration of our guest artists here at Bside skin Tattoo. Reception can be defined as a method of improvement applied in methodical terms and aims to explain in a simple way the aspects that you can benefit from and the role you should play in your professional activities.
In particular, it is aimed at all invited artists who are collaborating with us for the first time.
1. Presentation of the Organization
We are Bside skin Tattoo, a tattoo shop located in the city of Braga, Portugal.
Our goal is to provide a fun, comfortable, safe day and an environment that makes all our customers feel at home.
In our store we have 5 artists specialized in different styles and prepared to create exclusive arts, making each experience unique and special.
In addition to the resident artists, we frequently present new guest artists, with different styles, so that you can find in our studio everything you are looking for to get your tattoos done.
2. General Information
2.1. Installations
The Store is located in the center of Braga. This city presents places that, due to their intrinsic devotion and beauty, impose themselves as landmarks of obligatory reference and visit, such as the Sanctuary of Sameiro, Bom Jesus and Falperra. The city is surrounded by breathtaking green spaces and paradisiacal landscapes, so you can spend your free time walking around and getting to know our city better.
Our shop comprises an entrance, bathroom, a private room for piercings and laser removal and a tattoo room.
The facilities are located in the municipality of Braga with the following address:
R. Dom Pedro V 15, 4710-374 Braga
2.2. Schedules
- Monday to Saturday
- From 11:00 to 18:00
2.3. Agenda
For a better functioning and use of appointments with customers, follow the following rules that we have for guest artists.
- In the store we work both by appointment and by walk-ins.
- Bside skin can bring in some clients for you, let us know what types of jobs you would most like to do and if you would be willing to accept walk-ins. So we can filter clients so that you always work on projects you like.
- All customers raised by Bside skin will be forwarded to you, so you can manage your schedule as you prefer.
- We always advise all our guest artists to ask their clients for an advance deposit to guarantee their appointments, this can be done directly for you by MBWay or PayPal, according to your preference (the amount of this deposit is your choice, we advise a percentage of 30% of the total price of the tattoo).
- Remind all your customers in advance that we do not have an ATM in the store and that we prefer cash payments.
2.4. Price List
- Prices are defined by each artist, so for all clients referred to you we will always ask what your price would be.
- We don't have an ATM, so we accept payments preferably in cash, so we can also pay our guest artists daily.
2.5. Remuneration
As for percentages, we cover all the material that is necessary for you to be able to work without worries. At the end of the day the payments we make are 70% or 60% depending on the following conditions:

You get 70% if:
- Bring your own material (Paints and Needles)
- Bring your machine and equipment (power supply, clip cords, pedal, etc...)
- We cover all the remaining material.

- Bring your machine and equipment (power supply, clip cords, pedal, etc...)
- We cover all the remaining material.
3. Reception and Integration
3.1. What we can help with:
As it may be your first time to participate as a guest on Bside skin, you may have some doubts about what we can provide and help you with. That's why we leave here some information that can be useful for you to feel comfortable and know what you can count on from us.
- As soon as we confirm your place as a guest artist here in our store, we guarantee promotion of your projects on social media, Instagram and Facebook.
- We provide accommodation options close to our store.
- Places of interest for tours.
3.2. Common Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions that can help you during your stay. Any questions that have not been clarified through this document, you can always ask us and we will do our best to answer as soon and clearly as possible:
We have all the consumables and disposables available for use. We also have a wireless printer and a thermocopier.
Each countertop is also equipped with a roll of cling film, a roll of aluminum foil, green soap, Vaseline, Dettol, marker. Any material that is needed, you can always ask and we will add what is available.
